January: private sector data platform - we developed specifications for a centralised data store fed by the Building Management Control System, plant, metering devices and consumer facing systems into the cloud for real-time, uninhibited access to information across the entire organisation.
February - March: we are the lead project consultant for AIRAH and the CSIRO's i-Hub Smart Building Data Clearing House - A software platform designed to solve common data related problems for owners and operators of existing or new commercial, industrial, government, and mixed-use developments. The DCH is a horizontally integrated data platform that collects, consolidates, processes and securely shares building data.
April & September: we participated in the IEA/EBC Annex 81 Data-Driven Smart Buildings - This project imagines a future world empowered by access to discoverable, reliable, ubiquitous real-time data from buildings, such that digital solutions can rapidly scale and where energy efficiency knowledge can be widely encapsulated and disseminated within highly accessible software 'Applications' embracing modern IT approaches. The
April workshop was in Delft at the TNO. And in September in London at the UCL.
August setup new office in Bellingen NSW in addition to our Sydney office. This expansion is in proximity to regional projects and opportunities, providing a base for consultants and project partners in between Sydney and Brisbane.
October Keynote speaker at the EasyIO Asia Pacific Conference - where we shared company updates, product news, attended workshops, and shared some experiences of projects and important industry themes.
November attended the All Energy Conference 2019 in Melbourne - the sessions covered the latest innovations, energy policy, government initiatives and project developments across solar and wind energy, energy storage and more.
December setup UK company division - to solve the fundamental problem of exchanging digital energy information between energy organisations and with other stakeholders by supporting the development of products or services which can later be commercialised and employed to solve similar problems elsewhere.
It's been a busy year for us, so we are taking a break from now until the 8th of January. Looking forward to catching up and collaborating on some innovative projects in the new year!
